No. Because as tantalizing as it is to leave for good, I’d rather stay at the frontlines and fight where I can , or at least leave, travel the world, and write about the shite that happens here, then come back to either die a revolutionary (like some bloke who did it in the late 1800's) or live on as a TV show . Right now at least, my generation has seen this shit live since 2009 , and this time we won’t just want to keel over—there are at least 15 million voters in the 18-30 bracket and most of us lean progressive .
There is a veritable amount of despair, admittedly, everywhere you look in online Philippines , except for the supporters who just FOOKIN love the collective meltdown, and it does seem grim for the next three years. But the undercurrent of dissent is there, and either the admins step carefully or suck up all the potential sanctions.
